WGC Launches New Podcast, CUT TO:

cut to

The Guild is launching its new CUT TO: audio podcast today. Each episode will cut to/home in on a particular subject relevant to Canadian screenwriters and their art, whether it's an individual screenwriter and their body of work, an aspect of the craft, or a pressing issue in the industry.

In our first episode, we CUT TO: Susin Nielsen, screenwriter extraordinaire who's work includes writing for the OG Degrassi High and creating CBC series Robson Arms. Her most recent creation is 2021 Global TV series Family Law, on which she also serves as showrunner. Host JP Larocque and Susin end up discussing everything from what happened when COVID-19 struck two weeks into the production of Family Law, and the challenges of making overtly Canadian content in Canada, to the true glory of naps.

CUT TO: will be available on iTunes soon, but you can listen to it right now on wgc.ca HERE!
