Next WTTV Set for Nov. 27

saveme

The WGC is pleased to announce the Nov. 27 edition of Writers Talking TV will feature creator and showrunner Fabrizio Filippo discussing his critically acclaimed CBC Gem series Save Me, which follows the (mis)adventures of a team of paramedics in Toronto. WGC member Marsha Greene (co-showrunner Mary Kills People) will be joining him as the session moderator.

The Globe and Mail's John Doyle described Save Me as "funny, clever, sometimes melancholy and often beautifully unsettling," and NOW Toronto's Norm Wilner recently named it one of the 10 best shows on CBC Gem.

The event is free, but seating is limited. To save a spot at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, please RSVP to Shannon Bokowski ([email protected]). Doors open at 6:30 with the discussion and screening taking place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
